We visited the usual big box stores but did not get the best of feelings or choices to our liking. So we decided to go to a carpet specialist. We saw Diablo Flooring as we were driving home one afternoon and stopped in and spoke with David regarding our needs. He and his staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about carpets in general and specifically our needs. We wanted to use a Tactesse nylon fiber due to its wear qualities and especially its nice soft feeling under one’s feet. They listened to us when we explained the type of carpet we wanted. They explained the pros and cons of this product and other carpets available but did not try to oversell our needs and desires. They offered us samples to take home and compare them against the paint color the rooms were painted. After the choice was made, the installer came by to measure exactly how much carpet we needed and a short time later 2 installers returned to removed the existing carpet and put down a new 8 pound pad and install the carpet we selected. They were done in a morning and we have been very pleased with both our choice of carpet and how smoothly the whole process went. Diablo Flooring made choosing the right carpet an effortless task and they will be the first company we will contact again when we are ready for additional flooring needs.
